Tap dance has a long tradition of bringing people together through rhythm.

Tap Rhythm Project is a not-for-profit social enterprise that I established in 2006 to make tap dance activities accessible to communities and create opportunities for beginners to professionals to learn, perform, and share ideas.

Activities include regular classes to tap jams, talks, film screenings and workshops with tap masters from all over the world combining creativity, fitness and cultural heritage. These have taken place in Manchester and Nottingham in venues such as Band on the Wall, The Lowry Centre, City Arts, Nottingham and Peggy’s Skylight.

Tap Rhythm Project has been supported by Awards for All.
